Discord: The Movie
During our rebrand research, we surveyed thousands of our super fans to get an idea of what Discord meant to them, how they used Discord, and if one celebrity embodied Discord who that would be. Unfortunately Danny DeVito doesn't actually know what Discord is. Luckily he has some friends who use real Discord user stories to explain what we're all about.

From script iteration after iteration, to getting celebrities on board, to some grueling post-pandemic, pre-delta variant filming days, the end result and campaign was as unique and successful display of what makes Discord truly like no other place on the internet.

Not only did we break out hero film down into :60s, :30s, :15s, and :06s, we also created bespoke cutdowns to highlight how Discord is for inclusivity, gaming, creating, students, and more.
Breaking it Down
To help explain Discord even more, we also had our famous friends read real Discord user descriptions of what Discord means to people on our app. Then we brought them to life in a very Discord way.
